Introverted Invertebrates is being built as a small, deliberate operation: a place where the systems are transparent, the animals are respected, and every next step has a reason behind it.
From selectively bred Neocaridina to the more demanding Amano larval work, the point is to take the long way on purpose. Observe. Document. Adjust. Share what holds up.

The first systems are built around healthy foundation colonies, mature plants, and the records that make future progress repeatable. Smaller culture systems will make room for the overlooked animals that keep freshwater ecosystems moving.

Planned brackish shrimp systems will bring volcanic rock, algae, mineral stability, and the slow rhythm of anchialine life into the programme. Availability will come with time; the systems and records come first.

The outer name forms the final circle: a boundary of responsibility around the system and the lives entrusted to it. Inside that boundary, the motto is not a slogan but a loop—observe what is true, refine with care, then steward what depends on you.
